I am very excited to be the superintendent of the Bertha-Hewitt School District.  The opportunity to lead the great staff and students as well as be a part of the great communities that make up this district is what drew me to this position.  As for me, I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education and in 2012 I finished up two Master's Degrees; one in Special Education and the other in Educational Leadership.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two boys Beckam (4) Calahan (2), family, and friends as well as everything outdoors especially hunting and fishing.  My leadership philosophy revolves around four simple expectations: Be Respectful, Be Dependable, Be Trustworthy, Be Positive!  I look forward to supporting everyone in the district as the success of a school is a team effort; we have to work together - Go Bears!
