The rain may spoil some events today but I think we are all grateful we are getting some precipitation and it is not snow! It was a busy week at Bertha-Hewitt with a few events still panned including Prom which will take place Saturday night in the 2000 gym starting with a program at 6 p.m. and Grand March at 7:30 p.m. – let’s make this a safe and successful event! I wanted to highlight an accomplishment that is very rare: yesterday in the softball game between BHV Raiders and PP Panthers the Raiders hit back to back to back homeruns – Madison Valley started the homerun parade with Jordyn Glenz and Sydney Wenier following suit – awesome job ladies and great job to the rest of the team as they won 12 – 1 in five innings. The two pictures below represent the following: Yesterday Mrs. Schuller’s class went on a field trip to the Brainerd Dispatch – the kids enjoyed the learning experience. This morning 4 members were elected into the Bertha-Hewitt National Honor Society – Congratulations to Alysha Dykhoff, Michaela Powers, Allysa Kimber, and William Harren. The forecast is calling for warmer temperatures so hopefully people can get outside and enjoy some outdoor activities this weekend – I hope everyone has a great weekend!
