Hoping for a great 2016

It is hard to believe that next week 2015 will be a thing of the past. On my radio interview Kyle Gylsen asked about a favorite school and personal memory from the past year - my school memory was seeing the referendum pass which keeps the future of the Bertha-Hewitt School District very bright, family wise; I guess I couldn’t pinpoint one event but my wife and I always talk about how blessed we are to have 2 healthy boys. Our youngest Calahan was born a little over 2 lbs and they weren’t sure if he would survive…well this Friday he will turn 2 so my best memory from the past year is just being able to spend quality time with my wife and boys. As we enter 2016 I hope everyone sets goals that will make life better for them and their families. As I look at goals for our school I continue to look at our mission statement: Encouraging students to reach their full potential in a safe, accepting environment in partnership with students, staff, families, and community members - Happy New Years to Everyone!
