Success at the Science Fair

It sure feels cold outside today, but the 7 days forecast looks beautiful with lots of 30's coming our way. There was a lot going on this week in the district but it was highlighted by the Freshwater Science Fair that Bertha-Hewitt hosted. Our students stood above the rest claiming 3 Grand Champions, 3 1st Prizes, along with 8 other students receiving recognition - what a great showing by our students! The first graders had a fantastic trip to the Eagle Bend Library and that is where I got my picture of the week from; the kids looked like the enjoyed being a part of a puppet show. I wanted to remind families of Parent Teacher Conferences next Thursday; elementary conferences should be scheduled and high schools are drop ins from 1-4 and 5-8. We will also be hosting an Open House for Prospective Families from 5-7 so if you know of people looking for a change in their child's education please have them stop by for a tour.
