What - School is half over

It was a very busy week in the district as the 2nd quarter ends today; it is hard to believe that the school year is half over. I want to remind students and families that there is no school on Monday because of staff workshops. Snow Week begins February 1 with the following on the agenda: Monday – Pajama and Hat Day, Tuesday – Plaid vs. Camo Day, Wednesday – Jersey Day, Thursday – Black Out Day, Friday – Spirit Day. Throughout the week kids will also participating in dodgeball, carpet ball, ping pong, and pacman. We have a calendar committee that is working on next year’s school calendar so I wanted to give you a heads up on Holiday Break next year for those of you who are planners. With Christmas and New Year’s being on Sunday our Holiday Break will start Friday, December 23, and school will resume on Tuesday, January 3. My picture of the week actually comes from last week’s School Board Conference – three board members and I attended the conference along with over 1500 people to better our school district.
